The warm complex aroma of a freshly baked loaf of bread can be an utterly tantalizing experience, it brings a house to life and enriches every food it accompanies. Bread making and baking in general should be simple and most importantly fun.

Our bread making workshops will encourage you to have fun at home experimenting with your bread, our no-nonsense explanations will demystify the process thought by many to be a realm only for experienced artisans, we’ll talk you through the bread baking process, explaining each step along the way and it will allow you to replicate at home for the enjoyment of friends and family.

Workshops include:
- Welcome cup of Fairtrade Organic coffee or tea
- Convent Bakery apron
- Scones or muffins for morning tea which you make, eat & take home served with juice, tea & our own Fairtrade &
  Organic coffee roasted in house
- Lunch time walk around historic convent buildings & grounds
- Pizza for lunch which you make, eat & take home served with juice, coffee & tea
- All recipes and baking methods
- 1 kilo of organic flour to take home
- Basic sourdough bread techniques which you will use on the day to mix and bake your own bread and rolls to take home
- Workshops begin at 8am and finish at around 3pm
-All workshops are hosted by one of our fully qualified bakers or Pastry chefs

Cost $190.00 per person

- Private and corporate workshops available any day of the week, minimum 8 people. We can tailor any of these workshops to suit any team building exercise.
- Ample low cost parking available in the Abbotsford Convent Car Park, $4 flat daily fee goes directly to the restoration of the Abbotsford Convent.
- We begin our workshops at 8 am sharp, we encourage you come in a few minutes earlier to enjoy a complimentary coffee or tea.
- Workshops may be postponed due to extreme weather.
